Tip of the day #3

Most girls LOVE bling (in anything). And most of us love BLING BLING strappy heels with our beautiful evening and wedding gowns. My friend Cheryl just reminded me about today's tip cos of what she had to go through on her wedding day. Cheryl wore a beautiful full-laced wedding gown paired with a gorgeous pair of rhinestone covered strappy heels. She looked stunning that day without a doubt. However, because of the delicate lace trimmings, the rhinestones had a tendency to latch on the fabric causing her to "get stuck" while she tried to walk down the aisle in style. So in order to avoid that problem (If you are planning to wear a full-laced gown as well) is to either A)Wear shoes with no BLING or B)Coat the blings with several coats of clear polish and VOILA...problem solved.

If any brides or soon to be brides have anymore useful tips to share, please feel free to let me know. I'll be more than happy to pass the message around.

Happy Monday!

Yes folks...I know it's the Monday blues but Monday is pretty much halfway through. So three cheers to that! Now that Chinese New Year is about to end, it's time for all the happy couples to start getting busy with their wedding preps. A word of advice though, wedding preps can either bring a couple closer together or push them apart. Do not let the madness ruin the relationship...any relationship for that matter. There will bound to be family complications, frustrations and lots of bickering along the way, trust me it does happen. When that happens, just remind yourself to take deep breaths and forget about the nitty gritties. Nothing is more important than the love you have for your partner and your families. A wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. Let's make it a joyous occasion from start to finish. That will make your wedding day a truly memorable one.

Tip of the day #2

There is one thing that I always ask my brides.."Can you show me the pictures of the gowns you are interested in." Bringing pictures of gowns you have seen online or in magazines can help the bridal consultant bring you the dresses that you might be interested in. It doesn't matter whether that particular style suits your body type or not, it will help your bridal consultant/designer know what you like. Especially for brides who want to customize their gowns, it'll be easier for the designer to come up with a design that is truly YOU.
