There is one thing that I always ask my brides.."Can you show me the pictures of the gowns you are interested in." Bringing pictures of gowns you have seen online or in magazines can help the bridal consultant bring you the dresses that you might be interested in. It doesn't matter whether that particular style suits your body type or not, it will help your bridal consultant/designer know what you like. Especially for brides who want to customize their gowns, it'll be easier for the designer to come up with a design that is truly YOU.

In another few hours we'll be ushering in the year of the Dragon. Tip of the day #1

Always bring a good strapless bra when you go gown shopping. This is especially useful for the well endowed brides or those who may feel uncomfortable to bare it all (bra straps are just a pain in the neck). Not only will the bra provide you with a better fit (with a lift), it does help your entire ensemble feel more complete.
